A storyteller at heart and a tech nerd by trade, Carter Simoneaux has proudly called Lafayette home since 2012. A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Broadcasting, Carter kicked off his career in front of the camera as a reporter and morning anchor at KADN.
But the real magic happened behind the mic.
Fueled by a passion for storytelling and a love for South Louisiana’s rich culture, Carter launched AcadianaCasts—a full-service podcast and digital content production company focused on elevating local voices and big ideas. From concept to post-production, Carter brings a hands-on, high-energy approach to every project, ensuring that each story is crafted with care and creative flair. When he's not fine-tuning audio levels or coaching clients through their next big podcast episode, you can catch him hosting AcadianaCasts Presents: and Name, Image & MicNess, or engineering live productions like UL System Board meetings.
His résumé also includes collaborations with Law Have Mercy, Love of People, Social Entertainment, Upper Lafayette Economic Development, and Go Media alongside Mitch Bertrand.
